Brytyjski rząd w końcu opublikował oficjalną listę zamkniętych szkół w Wielkiej Brytanii. Niektóre dzieci przechodzą w związku z tym na zdalne nauczenie.

Na oficjalnej stronie brytyjskiego rządu, Departament Edukacji opublikował dzisiaj (środa, 6 września) listę szkół i uczelni, w których do 30 sierpnia potwierdzono obecność betonu komórkowego (RAAC)/ Przypomnijmy, że kontrole wykazały, że wiele szkół zbudowanych zostało z betonu komórkowego (RAAC), który nie jest bezpieczny.
Beton komórkowy (RAAC) to materiał używany w budownictwie od lat 50. do połowy lat 90. XX wieku. Obecnie jednak ocenia się, że budynki, gdzie wykorzystano ten materiał do budowy, mogą się zawalić. Na dzień dzisiejszy w mniej niż 1% wszystkich placówek oświatowych potwierdzono obecność RAAC. Okazuje się, że do dnia dzisiejszego większość placówek była w stanie wprowadzić odpowiednie środki ograniczające ryzyko, co umożliwiło terminowe otwarcie placówek. Wiadomo, że 104 placówki, które miały problemy, działają normalnie. W kolejnych 20 placówkach wprowadzono zajęcia hybrydowe, a 19 szkół opóźniło rozpoczęcie semestru o kilka dni, by zapewnić dzieciom bezpieczny powrót do nauki stacjonarnej. Tylko cztery placówki zdecydowały się na krótki czas przejść na naukę zdalną. Oto pełna lista szkół dotkniętych problemem związanym z betonem komórkowym.
